S. Brent Plate


S. Brent Plate is visiting associate professor of religious studies at Hamilton College and cofounder and managing editor of "Material Religion: The Journal of Objects, Art, and Belief." He is the author of several books, including "A History of Religion in 5 1/2 Objects." His writings have been published in the Washington Post, Huffington Post, Chronicle of Higher Education, and Religion Dispatches. He lives in Clinton, New York.
