Roger Dermody serves the Presbyterian Mission Agency as the deputy executive director for mission, overseeing the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.)’s six major mission and ministry divisions with a staff of more than 450 and an annual budget of $82 million. He served the Bel Air Presbyterian Church, a thriving 3,000-member congregation in Los Angeles, for 24 years. In his nine years as executive pastor, Dr. Dermody oversaw the senior leadership and the day-to-day ministry of a staff of 67 employees and an annual budget of $9.8 million. He also led the successful launch of two satellite church campuses in Los Angeles. He has completed a doctoral degree from Fuller Theological Seminary on leading institutional transformation.
