“You know, that is such total baloney. I was asked by a reporter immediately afterwards. I said of course I accept that he’s a Christian. The guy didn’t ask me a question. The guy got up and stated his opinion. I don’t have an obligation to go around and correct every single voter about every single topic. I also didn’t agree with him.”

Newt Gingrich, responding to criticism for not correcting a voter’s opinion that Obama is a Muslim.

Politicians don’t tell voters they’re morons. If some fool says “The government started AIDS to kill blacks and gays,” a politician doesn’t say “You’re an ignoramus who needs to get your head out of an innappropriate body part.” He says “Whether that’s true or not, it would be hard to prove or do anything about, so we should focus on preventing the spread of AIDS and caring for its victims.”

Isn’t that BIG of Newt? Why just the other day he was calling Obama a Marxist Kenyan anti-Colonialist Moslem.

    How is Newt Gingrich Catholic?
My response isn’t so much about Newt continually claiming that he is Catholic but the Catholic Church Doctrine. IF the Catholic Church christened Newt into the Catholic Church then that means the CC has done a complete about face it its Catholic Doctrine.
Newt has been married three times, to his present wife that was his mistress before divorcing his 2nd wife. He also Divorced his 1st wife. The problem is that wife 1 and wife 2 are still living. The Catholic Church for thousands of years had very strict doctrine against another marriage while the previous spouse is still alive.

My Catholic Uncle could not marry my Catholic Aunt because she her first husband just would not die off for the Catholic Church to christen them in marriage. For over 30 YEARS the Catholic Church would not give them permission to be married in the Catholic Church only because of her living 1st husband.
So there is absolutely NO WAY that Newt Gingrich and his new wife were married IN the Catholic Church for the sole reason Newt’s first two wives are still living.

It would go directly against Catholic Church Doctrine as it has been for thousands of years. Unless the Pope or Cardinal waived and gave Newt “special” treatment that lesser Catholics are by any means privy to, Newt and his current did not marry in the Catholic Church.

The Catholic Church has declared WAR on it’s self!

Romans, the rank hypocrisy of it all. How would CC even accept his conversion? These folks are more interested in the politics, than any kind of so called crap they speak of. They would not give John Kerry Communion, but they will accept Newt as their altar boy. Then they protest contraception because the chief clown in the gown says it is bad. They have no compass, bunch of fairy tale believing, make up crap as you go and pretend it to be eternal bunch of bigots.

Gingrich is such an inveterate lier that he rarely remembers what he says from one speech to the next – elsewhere he all but calls Obama Muslim.

How a man of such low character remains in the national political spotlight says nothing good about the process by which losers like Gingrich manage to stay afloat and in contention for the presidency, even after being completely discredited in congress for unscrupulous, unethical behavior.

Gingrich is the ultimate loose cannon…………..
