Rick Santorum: GOP more than ‘party of tax cuts’

“The national media, and yes the left, and yes even some within our own party, have suggested that oh, you just can’t talk about [family values]. You just have to be the party of tax cuts. Ladies and gentlemen, if we’re just the party of tax cuts, we’ll never win another election. America cares about more than just lower taxes.”

-Rick Santorum on March 5th, repeating his campaign theme that moral values are also economic values.

He’s right. We don’t just care about taxes. We also care about keeping creepy fundamentalist nutcases out of our government, bedrooms, and health care.

Rick has no ecomomic solutions. Hides behind the pulpit preaching. How does that create jobs or make anything get better? Still have no clue of what he’ll do as the president. Seems like he’ll opt for a “Holy-War” instead of Diplomacy if he becomes the president. Is that really American or is there something that Rick knows that the rest of us don’t?

Actually, since last year, 2011, one of my socio-political wishes for the USA was answered by the publishing of the Common English Bible. Now the whole USA voting population have a single best-selling book in a version (which is yet to be a best seller) so that all god commentary can be from one source which is the first such source ever in existence. Since I have enough Hebrew Language grammar knowledge, basic, to think in English using the Hebrew Bible portion of the Common English Bible, well, that’s exactly how I translate from my own personal experience the Hebrew Bible. So now I can talk to all USA Arabs, Blacks, Hispanics, Jews, Atheists, Maoists, clergy, masters in social work, psychiatrists with this ONE Bible. It also takes care of Sura 3:3. So why not everyone use simply by the Power of Public Choice use the Common English Bible in the USA. That should filter out a lot of silly noise. YHWH might enjoy it. YHWH challenged us all in unification in Gen:11 with the destruction of the Tower of Unity. So I would like every Presidential candidate be asked by we the people of the USA under god, including all athletes, to tell us which Bible version they like the best. A great filter of basic intelligence. What I need is Windows version of the CEB. I’m Jewish so I just ignore all the contrived titles and sub-titles for promoting back-to-the-future Jesus Christ myself. That doesn’t get in the way of the actual text translation of the Hebrew Bible for me. Because of this, I have “faith” that the translations from Koine Greek into English are forensically trustworthy.

The Grand Old Party is no longer as such today with the likes of those that want to use it as a party for the bible tumpers today. Those of such should read the country’s supreme law , the Constitution. Why would any person running for elected office want to bring religion of any kind in to our government of the people? Ricky full history should be fully known by the voters.

A truly great filter of basic intelligence is whether or not people believe what they read in any version of this scrap-book of ancient philosophy and psuedo-science.
