EARLY JUNETEENTH CELEBRATION:
7:00pm – 8:00pm on Thursday, June 6
Join us for an early Juneteenth celebration which includes
inspirational songs and storytelling.
Juneteenth is an annual commemoration of the end of slavery
at the end of the Civil War in the United States.
The holiday is observed each year on June 19.
This program will be presented by Tahira.
"TAHIRA is an award-winning singer, storyteller and public speaker
who uses her sound and music to "bring audiences messages of hope and courage."
This program is recommended for ages 4 – adult.
