What people say about Mt. Juliet A.M.E. Church
-
Hi! I give gifts to foster children and I’m curious if you would like to help me in my efforts of giving gifts to them.
— Perhaps you could gather 5-6 of your friends and come help volunteer for an hour or two! Volunteers are needed to sort and organize donations and make gift baskets for the foster children.
— Perhaps you could gather monetary donations from those who don’t have time to volunteer. 100% of the money donated goes directly toward buying gifts for the foster children since all of my overhead expenses are paid for. I get great prices online when I buy in bulk — Backpacks are $4 each, blankets $5 each, and duffle bags $6 each.
— Perhaps you could gather donations via a donation drive. This list is a sample of what I give to the foster children.
❤️ Please donate anything “new” or “like-new-gently-used” to foster care children and their families — beds, mattresses, comforters, blankets, sheets, pillows, duffle bags, luggage, backpacks, stuffed animals, toys, bikes, clothes, coats, shoes, socks, gloves, hats, furniture, cleaning supplies, markers, crayons, color pencils, notepads, books, body wash, deodorant, chapstick, toothpaste, toothbrush, drinks & snacks for them to have while waiting at court or the office, and anything else “new” or “like-new-gently-used.” ❤️
Any assistance you can offer will change lives! Thank you for showing love to these children!
