About Us

A friendly country church

Our mission statement:

We are baptized Children of God here to praise the Lord, nurture and help each other, and reach out to others. We commit ourselves to give freely, to teach, to share fellowship -- with each other, the sick, the needy, and our absent Members.

What to Expect

What are services like?
Each Sunday, the sermon and music are based on the Bible readings of the week. We have Holy Communion on the first Sunday of the month and major festivals. Those services are sung liturgy with a sermon and hymns. (For those familiar with Lutheran hymnals, it's LBW setting 2.) The last Sunday of the month is an informal "Sunday School Hymnal" service with spoken dialogs, Gospel hymns, and sermon. Other Sundays are a spoken service with sermon and hymns from our primary hymnal (LBW Service of the Word).

What is the community like?
We are a friendly country church.

What if I'm not a Christian?
We welcome seekers! Visitors are welcome to join in church activities or not as they are comfortable, except that we ask that those who are not baptized believers please refrain from receiving Holy Communion.
