What are services like?
Our Celebrations are about 90 minutes long and include a dynamic and passionate time of worship through a variety of musical styles. Often, there is a dramatic sketch or a thought-provoking multimedia presentation exploring the weekend’s theme. Pastor Ken Vance consistently teaches the Bible in a relevant, simple, yet engaging style. His messages pertain to everyday life and are designed to provide insight to help people, whether new to faith or well-seasoned, deal with real life issues. You will notice that Vertical Church is very contemporary, up-beat, and simply put, fun, but more importantly, we are a Christ-centered church.

What is the community like?
You’ll notice we have no dress code. You’ll see a wide variety of attire from suit and tie to jeans. Just come as you are. Our main desire is that you will feel comfortable. Our church family is as diverse as our style of dress. Vertical Church is a life-giving, multicultural, multi-generational church where people of all races, backgrounds and walks of life come together to worship, grow in their relationship with God and discover authentic relationships. Your children will also be warmly welcomed. Children six weeks to grade k can be checked in to our underwater themed Discovery Cove Nursery and Preschool to be cared for, ministered to and loved on by our team. School age kids can be checked in to Vertical Kids for an awesome service designed just for them.

What if I'm not a Christian?
We know that it can be a little intimidating visiting a church for the first time. That is why we love to make our guests feel welcomed and at home. When you visit us, you’ll be greeted at the door by one of our friendly members. Our Info Centers, staffed by lots of friendly people who would love to help you out in any way that they can, are great places to ask questions and find out more about Vertical Church. Stop by our Connexus Café before or after each celebration for a warm cup of coffee or choose from our selection of specialty drinks and variety of baked goods.
