About Us

Good Samaritan where Christ & Community Meet

We are a family size church with a lot of energy for outreach to our surrounding community. Good Samaritan lives out its name in ministry to our neighbors through being a member of the Western Bayside Churches United. Together we have an ecumenical garden at Good Samaritan that supplies fruits & vegetables to the neighborhood through the Food Pantry at Heritage Methodist Church. We proclaim Christ's love for our world through our actions. Our worship is a traditional Rite II Eucharist where children are welcome for the entire service at 9:30am on Sunday mornings followed by brunch.

What to Expect

What are services like?
One service on Sunday mornings of Rite II Eucharist with a combination of hymns and some praise music. The congregation is the choir. Casual attire is welcome. Children are active participants in the liturgy.

What is the community like?
Good Samaritan is an active Spirit filled family that lives out Jesus command to love our neighbors as ourselves. Our church family includes families, older adults, and adults with both physical and mental challenges so our building and worship space is handicap friendly.

What if I'm not a Christian?
We proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ and desire that all should know the love of Christ in the power of the Spirit in their own lives. We welcome people where ever they are on their faith journey. Our message is that God is love, so please bring your doubts and questions!
