First Assembly

What are services like?
We usually begin with music-led praise and worship. Then, we hear the message given by the minister. We have altar calls as led by the Spirit or at the end of the message. We are always open to move in whatever direction God leads us. There is never any pressure for anyone to do anything that is out of his or her comfort zone. There are always Board members and church leadership available to answer any questions regarding theology, beliefs and practices.

What is the community like?
We are family oriented, meaning, we see each other as part of the same family. We are there to help each other, encourage each other and be accountable to each other.

What if I'm not a Christian?
It is our desire to see everyone come to the saving knowledge of Jesus Christ. Our purpose for exisitng as a church is to welcome non-Christians, to love them as they are while telling them the good news of God's love for them, which He exhibited through Jesus' crucifixion, death, burial and resurrection. It is not our job or place to judge people or condemn people for behaviors or attitudes or clothing or lifestyle. We will, however, not be ashamed to speak the Truth, the Word of God, and let Him change us and perfect us through that Word.
