What to Expect

What are services like?
The Liturgy is like a great dinner party - we're greeted upon arrival, we share stories, we gather around the table for a meal, and we're sent forth until we meet again. Worship at CTK follows this ancient form called "liturgy," while incorporating various types of music and a relevant/accessible sermon. We encourage all ages in worship, though we do offer a nursery. No one will give you the stink eye if your children can't sit completely still and silent - you'll likely encounter smiles. Worship lasts about an hour.

What is the community like?
Welcoming, but not in a scary way! A mission church from the 60's, CTK has never lost a passion for welcoming strangers into our life together. We simply love being together and working as a team for the sake of the Gospel.

What if I'm not a Christian?
We would love to have you join us for worship or any of our events! As Lutherans we believe that Holy Baptism is the greatest gift the Church has to offer - we would love to talk with you about this gift of life. Our Pastor loves exploring issues of faith with seasoned Christians, people of other faiths and seekers alike.
