What are services like?
Our worship services are a reverent blend of contemporary music and traditional hymns. Although we have no set litrugy, our order of worship is similar to that of most evangelical churches of like faith. We are affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention and in good standing with our denomination as a church of like faith and practice. Our pastor is a graduate of Golden Gate Baptist Seminary and has served the members of Calvary since 1999.

What is the community like?
Los Banos is a relatively small community located just over the hill from the South Bay area of San Jose and San Francisco. While agriculture has long been the area's main source of family involvement, a growing crop of bay area commuters has changed the make up of our city in the past several years. With two high schools and numerous elementary schools, Los Banos has become an attractive residence for young families.

What if I'm not a Christian?
All are welcome at Calvary Baptist Church. Although we'd probably be considered a "theoligically conservative," our mission is not to promote a particular theology. We believe God has placed us here to encourage persons who attend to worship His only Son, Jesus Christ, as Savior and Lord.
